Villa Evgenia in Lefkada - appartments to rent
Villa Evgenia is located to the east of the island, next to the villages Geni and Vlycho, and has a breathtaking view of the famous island Skorpios owned by the Greek well-known ship owner Onassis. Geni and Vlycho are two villages facing each other round a small calm bay, situated on the leeward side of the island that often welcomes yachts. The two villages are close to Nydri, the most visited village in Lefkada with plenty of services in the visitors’ disposal. Villa Evgenia is located 8 km away from Nydri and 24 km away from the town of Lefkada.
You can access it only by car. The tranquillity of the place is assured by the distance of other lodgings. The final driveway (about 1.2 km) is not tarred but this is definitely not a problem for every average rented car.
We have to mention that a car is necessary in Lefkada as the sights are relatively distant one from the other and the public transportation network is not regular.
Surroundings/garden
Villa Evgenia is found on a hill in a fenced estate of 5.5 hectares where we have constructed apartments exclusively for rent. It is surrounded by cypresses and olive trees and has a direct view to the sea and to Skorpios island .
Children can play carefree around the house (not with matches of course!!)A great variety of trees and flowers are present which makes the landscape particularly beautiful .From summer 2010, all the visitors can use the barbecue found on the premises. You can have access to the beach on foot but it is not recommended. The closest beach is located 3 km away (Desimi Beach).
We advise you to visit all the beaches of Lefkas. Each and every one of them have their own characteristics and offer different and various thrills.(look at the description of Lefkada’s beaches)
Lodging
The construction of Villa Evgenia was finished in 2003.
It comprises 2 apartments of 52 m2 and 2 apartments of 63 m to rent.
In certain apartments the access is possible for people with physical disabilities.
There is sufficient parking space to park your vehicle.
Rooms/ Studios
Every apartment has received the authorisation of the Greek National Tourist Office and has been awarded with “3 keys”
Every apartment includes :
A private room with a double bed, cupboards, air conditioning, television set
heating
sanitary facilities (toilet, shower, washbasin)
A living room with a fully equipped kitchen : refrigerator, oven, pans, plates and cutlery...
In the living room, a table and a sofa bed for two
Sheets and towels are provided; we do not change sheets but you can always ask for some clean ones if you need to.
All the necessary cleaning products during your stay are at your disposal.

Services
We are happy to accommodate you whatever the time of your arrival. Yet, the apartment should be released before 12 o’clock on the day of your departure.
